Old School Telco DID

In the old days, when one bought DID from telco (Like on premise Centex) you bought a group of incoming numbers from telco. Then you bought DID trunks that connected to the PBX. The calls from the Incoming numbers are passed down these DID trunks as either pulses or TT . What came to the PBX was only the last 4 digits of the number and the PBX connected these 4 digit numbers directly to the extensions or IVR.
Is there a card out there that will accept these connections from the telco and send them to the asterisk switch in the same way?

According to a thread in users mailing list, all PRI cards work with DID. But you would have to program Asterisk to decode DID according to telco’s specifications. (No direct experience.)
