Number of simultaneous calls on Asterisk

Hello all,
Someone can tell me how simultaneous calls that Asterisk can support please?
for example if i have a server with: CPU 2GHZ, 2 GB

No one’s going to be able to answer that question with any practical answer. There are too many variables at play (codecs, prompts, recordings, bridgings, resampling, etc.) to be accurate.

I want to developpe a call center so i’ll be using “recording”, codec g711 , g729
if someone have an idea.
