No such command 'dahdi restart'

I have Centos 5.5 and Asterisk 1.6.2.20 with dahdi: Version: 2.5.0 when I enter Asterisk CLI I receive the following error message when I try to restart "No such command ‘dahdi restart’ ", I know dahdi is supposedly not loaded, but when I run dmesg | less it says it has loaded the file

Hi,

Before do the asterisk installation have you installed the Dahdi driver ? If no then you need to install first then try.

Regards,

Ketan

He clearly has the dahdi driver loaded. The question would be whether had chan_dahdi loaded. Does help dahdi return anything. If not, run module load chan_dahdi and see if and why it isn’t loading.
