No audio behind nat

Hi,

We have an asterisk server behind a nat and network 1. We can connect softphones to it and calling and audio works.

Then we have softphones on network 2 which is also behind nat. We can call softphones on network 2 and we can establish a call but audio on network 2 doesn’t work. We don’t see any errors in the asterisk console.

What are the main steps to troubleshoot this scenario are?

Look at he SDP being exchanged and see which wrong address, if any is being used, and which side is using it.

The nat= option controls several hacks that can help when the remote system is not fully NAT aware.
