Need help isolating a Channel on FreePBX

Hi, I am using FreePBX v13 and need help with the following issue:

I have a Trunk provider (1 Trunk) with 5 DIDs and 5 channels (5 concurrent calls). I requested a 6th DID along with a 6th channel and I need that additional channel to be available only for calls to that 6th DID and not to be available for calls to any of the other 5 DIDs or from extensions mapped to the other 5 DIDs. Something like I show below:

Incoming: DIDs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will use 5 channels if are called at the same time. The 6th caller calling to any of those 5 DIDs with go to voicemail or waiting call.

Incoming: DID 6 will use the 6th channel (always available for calls to that 6th DID)

Outgoing: Any extension under DIDs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 will occupy the 5 channels, and if another extension tries to make a 6th call they won’t be able to make the call until one of those 5 channels become available.

Outgoing: The extension under the 6th DID will always have the 6th channel available to call.

Basically I am trying to isolate 1 channel from the other 5 to be used exclusively by 1 DID (in) and 1 extension (out) that can’t afford to be unavailable.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

For your incoming requirements, contact the makers of the gateway.

For you outgoing channels, to to http://community.freepbx.org/

This can be done if you have a second trunk only for the sixth number. If you have one trunk it might be done with an elaborate dialplan but it is not worth the time and effort. Just create a second account and ask the provider to patch the number there. Then use this account to register the new sip trunk.
