Problem: I have learned that when recording at conversation using the Monitor command the recorded calls will periodic get “busy” meaning that the recorded and only the recorded conversations will get busy.

Can anyone tell me why this happens and why I can not record the DTMF tones?

I do not understand the nature of your problem. Please provide details of how you are invoking the monitor command and the output from a verbose CLI when the problem occurs.
