Limit amount of simultaneous calls per extension

As part of security implementation, we need to limit number of simultaneous calls per extension.

Is there any easy way to do this in Asterisk? Can someone shed some light?

We are still using Asterisk 11.20.0, but have plans to upgrade soon.

I don’t know if the option call - limit exist on asterisk 11.x, if not use group_count function

Yes, using GROUP_COUNT passing in the sip user id seems to work. Thanks.
