Is it possible for Asterisk to a sipgate basic account, ie like a POTS

Hi,
I am new to Asterisk and have created a home PBX very easily, I’ve been impressed.

What I am trying to do is connect Asterisk to my Sipgate basic account, but have been struggling for the last couple of days. I am not sure if it is possible. I have also tried to replicate the setup with 2 asterisk servers.

Now, my sipgate basic account is not a trunk account and I don’t want that functionality. It is a straight sip “endpoint”. So when any of my extensions dial a 0 prefixed number, it will connect via the sipgate account. if a call comes in, it will Dial(PJSIP/xxx&PJSIP/xxx&PJSIP/xxxx) until someone picks up.

I am sure I am just missing the terminology, could someone point me in the right direction, if this is possible. I suspect there is a way of my asterisk server to replace the calling extension in the “from” fields with the account details.

Cheers,

Michael

Should be. NAT is the only likely issue.
