Is Google Voice still supported on FreePBX?

Hi there,

I have been trying to setup Google Voice Motif on my FreePBX server with no luck. For some reason I can’t get it connect. After doing some research I found both, that support for PBX systems was going to be discontinued and that they had worked out their issues and that it was working just fine.

Can someone confirm either of those and if it is still working, share your troubleshooting tips to get it working for me?

I have allowed connections for less secure devices on my google account and disabled 2nd level authentication as well.

You’ll probably have better luck asking on their forums:

As far as Asterisk is concerned, nothing in Asterisk has changed one way or the other with how it communicates with Google Voice.
