As you’ll probably realize while reading this, I’ve only recently come across Asterisk. Therefore, my aplogies for any “stupid” or otherwise misplaced question.
A customer of mine has a Cisco Call Manager solution in place and would like to set up VoiceMail. He has the possibility of acquiring cards, software and so on for Call Manager but is willing to check other solutions.
While browsing the net and talking to some people, it looked that Asterisk might just allow me to do just that.
Question: can I use Asterisk to provide a Voice Mail solution to another PBX that does not implement it like Call Manager.
