I am a newbie in asterik. I am trying to install it on my Debian System.
While I try to do:
$./configure
following error comes:
checking for vorbis_info_init in -lvorbis... no
checking for vpb_open in -lvpb... no
checking for compress in -lz... no
configure: error: *** termcap support not found
I have searched over Internet. But termcap libraries/database does not seem to be supported on Debian. Insted, Debian have Terminfo database.
I installed libncurese5-dev package. Now there is a different sort of error coming. Is there any problem with autoconf or autoconf version?

I found these two links on web mentioning a similar problem.
