How to configure SIP in asterisk and make a test call Xlite

I am new in asterisk. I dont have any FXO/FXS card. that is why i want to configure SIP in asterisk and want to make test call with soft phone Xlite. please tell me in details step by step the required configuration both for asterisk and Xlite too.

Hi

Wouldn’t it be better to learn this your self? Have a Google you will find may examples , try them and then ask specific questions if you have any problems then. Just expecting people to tell you exactly what to do will mean you just wont understand the underlying concepts.
