Hi all.

I really dont know how to fix this error:

WARNING[10145]: chan_sip.c:12888 handle_response: Remote host can't match request NOTIFY to call '4f8d5b896abad16860294d180666d720@IP-x-x-x-x'. Giving up. If I look this page:

I get:

The first issue is that after the REFER request has been processed the first NOTIFY is sent by Asterisk and the response to that NOTIFY request is not matched and the request is re-transmitted until timeout. Subsequent NOTIFY requests do get macthed correctly so the issue only applies to the very first NOTIFY sent.

So, I think:
“Ok, all I have to do is disallow “mailbox=xxxx@context-vm” in my sip.conf.”

But If I do that, I disallow the MWI.
Is it correct? So, How can I fix this?

(Asterisk version: 1.4.20)

That issue is about SIP transfers, not about mailboxes.

What is going wrong? Simply getting a warning should not require any fixing, in itself. A warning is not an error.

Yep, but if I disallow what I said, the warning just disappear.

yes, but this warning is bothering me, just that.

Is there any way to make it disappear?
