H.323 information is pretty scarce for some reason. Most information is
from years past and not much new info?
I have a little private lab here and I’m trying to configure a couple of H.323 softphones,
with the ultimate goal of making SIP–>H.323 and H.323 -->SIP calls.
I have the SIP phones working.
I can originate an H.323 (SJphone) call to a SIP phone (Xlite), the SIP phone rings, but when I answer the SIP phone, the call ends with the SJphone saying: “The Other Party did not support any of our media formats”
(Funny but this called did work at one time and I don’t know what I did to cause this failure?)
I’m somewhat confused on what information goes into the OOH323.conf and
extensions.conf file? Also, are there any other .conf files I need to work on?
I should also mention that I have the GNU Gatekeeper in the mix and that Asterisk
is registered to it as a Gateway. I assumed that I would need the Gateway function
to interwork SIP–>H.323 calls?
So, can anyone help with the oo323.conf and extensions.conf files?
Thanks,
Ray
