Gtalk unable to connect . Internet not accessible

Hello all

i have configured jabber.conf and gtalk.conf , these configurations are working Fine my home Internet . But when i transferred my Server in my University computer . it does not connect to gtalk.

My university has their own Proxy server, Proxy IP address and Port Must be defined in Internet Browser settings…

i, i am new to asterisk. i wish to configure it for recieving incoming calls from gtalk. After installation i do see the files jabber.conf and gtalk.conf in /etc/asterisk but in the cli i do not see the commands like “jabber show connections” am i supposed to installed another lib or the jabber daemon etc.? I also saw that make install listed installing modules from res.
