Got SIP response 486 "Busy here" back from

Hi,

We have bought 100 channels from one of the VoIP provider. But we are getting SIP response 486 “Busy here” back from SIP provider. We checked in our asterisk server, maximum utilization calls only 32, but why we getting these error. Below are the error.

  1. – Called SIP/XXXXSiptrunk/15022572066
    – Got SIP response 486 “Busy here” back from XX.XX.XX.XX:5957
    – SIP/XXXXSiptrunk-00679218 is busy
    == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:1/0/0)
    – Auto fallthrough, channel ‘SIP/XXX-00679217’ status is ‘BUSY’

  2. – Called SIP/XXXXSiptrunk/15856328480
    – Got SIP response 486 “Busy here” back from XX.XX.XX.XX:5957
    – SIP/XXXXSiptrunk-006792a4 is busy
    == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:1/0/0)
    – Auto fallthrough, channel ‘SIP/XXX-006792a3’ status is ‘BUSY’

Can you please anyone suggest what type of error this?

You would need to ask the provider. It could be that the numbers in question are actually busy.
