Hi,
I upgraded (using yum) my 1.6.2 to 1.8.8.1 install on CentOS 6 32 bit, and the g729 codec licenses that were in there before are no longer working. i can see the license files in /var/lib/asterisk/licenses and I placed a new copy of codec_g729a.so in /usr/lib/modules but to no avail.
I tried installing a new g729 license, following the digium installation steps, but that didn’t work either. (restarted asterisk after every step)
when I run “asterisk -rx ‘g729 show licenses’”, it takes a long time (about a minute) before the command loads, and after that i am just taken back to the prompt with no output whatsoever. (no error either).
Any help on what i should try?
