Is it feasabile to setup where a fax is sent to email and an external fax machine? Without re-faxing?

Or - is would it be possible to setup email -> to 14115551212@domain.com and asterisk would fax the email to 14115551212

Thoughts appreciated - I want to focus on a feasible idea, so I thought I would get opinions on which would be…

If all you are looking for is a fax gateway, you might try programs that are dedicated to that purpose, such as Hylafax.

They have support for specifically what you are trying to do:
