Is it possible to have Asterisk send a fax via a zap channel?
I have repeated requests to fax a specific document to people and I’d like to just dial a few numbers into my asterisk box instead of dealing with a fax machine.
Here is what I want to do:
- Dial an extension.
- Prompt user to enter a telephone number.
- Send a .tif or .pdf file to the entered telephone number over POTS on a zap channel.
