I am developing an aplication to send recorded messages, and need to process the inbound sound in real time. That’s why I thougt of using EAGI, because I understand that that’s the only way to access the sound channel. Is that right?
And I am a Java programmer, so was thinking of writing the EAGI sripts in java, but not using asterisk-java as it doesn’t support EAGI.
Can someone please advise me on this? Will it be too slow to run java in the same computer as asterisk?
