Dropped Calls

Hi,

We’re experiencing the occasional dropped call on one of our Asterisk installations, with the below being logged each time:

[Jul 3 16:30:26] DEBUG[4533] audiohook.c: Write factory 0x822b6bc was pretty quick last time, waiting for them.

[Jul 3 16:30:26] DEBUG[4532] channel.c: Hanging up channel ‘SIP/1001-08221668’

No BYE was received from the remote end, so we’re assuming it dropped due to a connectivity issue.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Thanks,
Simon

Has no one come across this before?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. Nope, can’t say I have ??

What version of Asterisk are you running ??

What is it running on ???

Not that I am promising anything ???

Cheers
Chris

Thanks for the response. I had given up on this post!

It’s running Asterisk 1.4.21.2 on Ubuntu 8.04, 2.6.24.

Thanks!

Assign the extension to another phone on another network line and see if the same thing happens.

Perhaps its the network connection or the phone failing?

Sounds like it loses some packets so it drops the call.
