Disable Music on Hold For One Extension

Hi all,

Here is the issue: If I’m in a conference call, but then need to place the phone on hold, for example to answer another incoming call, Asterisk will start Music on Hold, causing all other participants in the conference to hear music.

Is there any way to disable Music on Hold for a single extension?

I tried looking up a solution, but none of what I have come across has worked.

Tried the following: lists.digium.com/pipermail/aster … 94350.html

Didn’t work. Everytime I go on hold, the music still plays.

– Started music on hold, class ‘default’, on Zap/2-1

Any ideas?

That mailing list post references an option that’s not valid.

You’re looking for mohsuggest and mohinterpret.
