Hi, I’m planning to have an Voip system here at our company. I’d like to use a Digium E1/R2 card. Our company have is also planning to have a new E1/R2 connection with our local carrier. My question is this, If I install linux, asterisk with Digium E1/R2 can I Directly connect the e1/r2 from my local carrier to the e1/r2 that is connected to the asterisk server. What would be the config files to setup?ALso if I buy the card, what support can I get from digium?

Digium cards don’t support R2 signalling directly. If using an E1 with euroISDN Digium will get the card up and running for you.
