Destinatio Port SIP and UDP

Hi all,

I’m performing a research using a SIP Server Asterisk making query on ports different from 5060 to reach my clients.
Sometimes some Firewall block my packets (not if the source and destination ports are 5060).
What does international standard VoIP suggest in this case? Have i to employ just port 5060 for recovering
this information or i can use other ports?

There isn’t an International Standard for SIP, only an RFC. 5060 is the assigned port number for unencrypted SIP. Support for any other port number would be a local decision.
