Getting No PRI running on span 1

Hi,

I just installed new version of asterisk i.e. 1.8.3, dahdi-linux-complete-2.4.1+2.4.1 and libpri-1.4.11.5. I configured dahdi for PRI T1 lines (2 cards containing 2 ports each) as configuration is listed down below;

As I logged into asterisk and issue command and the result I’m getting is listed below;

No PRI running on span 1

As the result it is giving me “No PRI running on span 1/2/3/4”

So anybody please do help me out at this point. Am I missing something? Even I tired to reboot the system it is giving me same message. Plus, the ports where PRI cable is inserted are green. As I’m listing other stats as well.

Forgot to add, when I issue command;

dahdi show channels

It does’nt shows any channels and when I run the command; dahdi show channel 1 it returns Unable to find given channel 1

I’m not noticing anything wrong with what you have posted.

Did you compile this from the source? Did you perhaps do libpri after building asterisk?
I know in the ./configure of asterisk, it looks for the libpri headers. If you did the libpri last, then its possible something necessary is not compiled into your build.

I complied all the packages from source and listing down the order which package I installed from first to last.

1-libpri
2-dahdi
3-asterisk

But even this the first time I’m facing error when configuring PRI on a box. Please need your advise.
