I am running Asterisk 1.8.26, why I got “No such command” when running dahdi show channels?

Hello All,
I found the problem: this is because module load chan_dahdi.so does not automatically loaded when Asterisk starts … so I have to run:
module load chan_dahdi.so before running dahdi show channels
Could anybody please advice, how to make it automatically loaded when Asterisk start?

Edit your modules.conf
yes, I put :
load => chan_dahdi.so
in /etc/asterisk/modules.conf
but it still not automatically loaded when asterisk start

Stop your asterisk then run it using asterisk -vvvvvvcg and look for dahdi errors/warnings then show us.

None of those errors/warnings are related to dahdi, try looking backward.
How about this?: (I have cleared previous ones)

Try removing unused channels, your output only show one active line in Chan 1 remove all others. Also which versions are you using?
