"Core set verbose" setting "Current console" not "Root console"

Using the “core set verbose” command is setting the “Current Console Verbosity” as opposed to the “Root Console Verbosity” as is stated in the documentation.

I’m connecting to the CLI using the command “asterisk -r”

Any ideas?

  1. Which Asterisk version are you using?
  2. Are you referring to this documentation and does it work differently for your system?

Could you issue the same commands and provide actual outputs?

Post what you see in the /usr/sbin/safe_asterisk.
