Hello everyone,
Could someone explain me what is the difference between call transfer, call redirect and call forwarding. From what I could find out call redirect is done with SIP message “302 Moved Temporarily”. I still don’t have clear if the other two methods are different sip messages and if they provide different funcionality.
I apologize for asking a not-asterisk-specific question. But I really don’t know where else to address it.
Why do you need this information? It feels a bit like a homework question, so I am reluctant to answer it.

So, I just want to get the terms right. I’ve done some googling but I still can’t find a document that would compare these features.
