Ok, I have an Asterisk machine at a remote datacenter working perfectly with a few Cisco IP Phone 303 with Asterisk version: asterisk-10.12.1.
Anyway, today I have received two Cisco 7960G running SIP firmware. So, like 303 phones, I thought they would be simple to configure, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The 303s have a nice HTTP interface, which seems to work great. However, the 7960G has a little menu setup on the phone, which is fine too.
However, after adding the account and correct details to the phone, it doesn’t seem to register as the 303s do perfectly.
I’m not sure how to debug this. If you need more information I’ll gladly provide it.
