Changing part of SIP FROM

Hello,

I would like to know if there is any posibility to make this change without setting callerid(name)
(chan_sip)
on my INVITE I have:

From: "XXXXX" <sip:40322386@10.12.6.126>;tag=as708f9434

I would like to change only the XXXXX without doing it from dialplan on calleridname, maybe there is any setting on the peer that does this? or maybe be able to mangle the From with a function??

There is no configuration based mechanism to change the display name value going out. It’s just set from the callerid information.
