Hi, I’m evaluating Asterisk to replace a commercial product we are currently using on a project. We will be interfacing with it via ARI. My question is whether it is possible to change volume/gain, either at the channel or bridge level, over ARI? I notice there is a VOLUME dialplan function, but can’t find any reference to volume/gain in the ARI specification. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
There is nothing explicitly in ARI to do it, but it allows you to execute dialplan functions using the same functionality that can set variables so it can be done that way.
