has some1 got an idea about implementing call waiting facility purely with the help of dialplan???
There are a few ways to implement Call Waiting. Depending on your system design and devices, some options may not be available without serious modifications – and some typical call waiting indications are device-dependent.
Do you have a simple dialplan you’re just starting (less than ~500 lines) – or a more complex dialplan you’re extending?
Also, is it part of a business or IVR system? Supporting call waiting can mean conflicts in office phone systems.
