Call URL in case of missed call

Hello,

I want Asterisk to send me an SMS in cases of missed calls. If it was in dialplan, it would be something like

=> 12000,1,System(/usr/bin/curl -f sms-send-url)

I assume that this functionality cannot be part of a dialplan, or not, because Answer() either answers or do nothing.

System can be used as part of a dialplan. I do not understand your references to Answer.

My reference to System was only to indicate what I need to do.

Maybe forget about Answer(). How can I handle “missed calls” in a dialplan?

Time out on the Dial application and/or use the h extension and check for the final DIALSTATUS.
