I would like know how could i set call transfer in asterisk.
Scenario: If a customer lands in asterisk and if he dial some other customer then the call has to proceed to him. How can i achieve this using asterisk.
What is the config file and function to use in asterisk.
Please suggest.
It is not clear to me whether you are talking about transfers, or forwarding.
For transferring, the options depend on the technology of the party requesting the transfer.
For all technologies, “DTMF” can be used to initiate a transfer. This is configured in features.conf. For SIP, the phone itself can mediate the transfer, and this doesn’t require any configuration in Asterisk. I’m not sure if there is some procedure, for dahdi, starting in register recall.
