The girl created an autodialer that broadcasts a message to the scammers in India. I would like to do the same thing. She would flood their call centers with a pre-recorded audio. It’s the funniest thing I have ever seen. I get 10 calls a day from India ranging from IRS to Credit Cards, etc and would like to fight back.
Anyone know how to do this?
I can empathize with the desire to ‘get back,’ but this may not end well.
What if the scammer spoofs the phone number for the White House (or your relevant state police headquarters) and they pay a visit because of your ‘threatening revenge rants.’
I don’t like that for same reason of sedwards.
But… the best way will be use sippclient on a tiny server or raspberry pi on an alternative dynamic link or small hosted vm.
For example, take the ipaddresses banned from fail2ban and start your fight back based on that list instead of simultaneous reaction.
Once you detect you can’t talk to the banned ip anymore, you can automatically reset your modem to renew your public ip address. (Or use containers for that while the thief address are alive)
