How does asterisk behave when an invite comes in and both remotesecret and username (no secret) are set for a peer in sip.conf?
Will the sending party be challenged for authentication because of the username parameter?
Dont want to sound like an ass, well maybe I do.

remotesecret has nothing to do with incoming INVITE, it is use with outbound authentication, I havent test it , but if there is not secret set, I assume Asterisk wont challenge authentication, also if you set insecure=invite Asterisk do not require authentication of incoming INVITEs, but anyway make sip trace and find it out
