Basic Instant Messaging

Hi,

I’ve somehow managed to set up a very basic Asterisk system and the telephony side of things is working OK.

One of my users has discovered the “Instant Message” option but we get an error “Method not allowed” if we try to use it.

Where should I look to get this working please - simple instructions if possible as I’m new to this :confused:

This, and the telephony, is only used on a local area network - no outside world connection (thankfully !)

Ah, oh, whoops… maybe that option is part of the x-lite application and only applies to some other VoIP systems and not applicable to Asterisk.
