Attached Data?

Hello everyone,

I want to know if it’s possible to attach datas with Asterisk during a call with one of IP phones registered on the server?

Attached datas can be, for example, the one that is called could see the caller number displayed, his name.
An other example, in call center, if it’s possible to know the customer’s status.

I think Asterisk could make that possible right?

You can use an external program to get that information using the AMI library, The ARI framework or something like that but asterisk can’t do it by itself.

Any external program written in a language of you choice that can use AMI (wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/pages/vi … d=29395573). ARI is available for Asterisk 12 and 13.
