Asterisk with claroline

Hello,

I’m using claroline to provide courses to student, and i would like to add a notification service for parents (mail, voice) by getting phone numbers and e-mails from the students tables stored in MySQL database.

Can i use Asterisk to achieve this need?

if it’s not the case would you like to propose any other suitable solutions?

Could you please give more details? Are you talking about generating automated calls to the parents and playing some voice prompts?
