hi, i am not an expert about asterisk, but i am very interest of…so my pourpose with asterisk is, i want to have different clients, could be SIP, H323, IAX, MGCP clients, so i want that asterisk will be the central server, does asterisk work like gatekeeper? if not, how should i do to offer comunication services to clients under H323? and sip clients under the same machine?
does anyone have a clear procedure to install asterisk, and if is possible to make it work like gatekeeper? i really want to start to work but i dont know how and where should i begin?
