Asterisk runs better in a single CPU ou dual CPU?

Hi guys!!

We’ve a VM server runs Asterisk in a Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) / PBX Engine 18.21.0 / Kernel 5.10.0-28-amd64.

What’s the best CPU specs for 80 concurrents calls? A Single CPU with 16 Cores or a Dual CPU with 8 Cores?

Ram memory is the same on both servers, and SSD also.

I have recently performed performance testing for Asterisk with TLS and sRTP encryption. Asterisk supports 30 simultaneous extensions per virtual core. For 80 extensions with 4 cores it is more than enough .
