Asterisk Problem with VoipBuster username containing a '@'

Hello

My username on VoipCheap is something like a@domain.com

It has been accepted as such, when registering.

However, it seems that I get a SIP/2.0 400 Bad request when I place a call using the syntax like register => a@domain.net:password@sip.voipcheap.com

Any ideas how to circumvent that problem ? I need to keep this username because the VOIP incoming number is very important.

Hi

Well Im supprised that A they let yo register a username like that and B you expect it to work.

AFAIK you are up the swanny without a paddle.

i share your point of view, but knowing that i can phone and receive calls when I use their VoipBuster interface, i suspect there is a way to solve that problem with the SIP protocol, hence my posting
