Asterisk Installations Script for Debian 4

We just updated the Asterisk installation script with some add-ons like:

The goal of this script to provide a one-click (one-command) installation for a Debian based (Debian Etch) Asterisk system without Trixbox and any other crap.

The script will install:

  • All Debian Dependencies
  • Asterisk 1.2…
  • Asterisk - Add-Ons
  • Zaptel (with ztdummy)
  • Sounds
  • Mysql for CLI
  • FAX support with SpandDSP
  • Webmin
  • phpMyAdmin
  • phpSysinfo
  • Central Admin link Page (thanks to Marco)

Make sure you have a running Debian 4 (netinstall) and a internet connection before you run the script.

Attention: Don’t run the script in your /usr/src directory !!!

Download the script from here: asteriskinstall-0.5
danielaliaman.com/blog
get the file #wget danielaliaman.com/blog/files … nstall-0.5
make the file executable #chmod +x asteriskinstall-0.5
execute the script #./asteriskinstall-0.5

Daniel is working on a more sophisticated version of the script with:

  • Error Handling
  • Digium, Sangoma and Redfone hardware automated installation

Cheers
Daniel and Marco
