Asterisk-dev: ast_channel structure

Hi all,

I need help with ast_channel structure. Since Asterisk 1.8 doesn’t have anymore the structure ast_callerID inside ast_channel structure. I’m trying to connect me to IRC channel as explained here asterisk.org/developer/resources but it say to me

That’s an IRC newbie problem. Unfortunately I only connected to it once, some time ago, and I forget exactly what I did. I did use a real IRC client, though, and you may well need to do that initially.

Have you considered using the mailing list, instead?
