Asterisk as Voicemail for a Meridian Option 11

Has anyone tried to use Asterisk as a voicemail system for a Meridian Option 11? I have a voicemail system that is limping along and we are in the middle of reviewing IP solutions. I just need something to work for a few months until we pick our IP solution.

VERSION 2111
RELEASE 23
ISSUE 35 +

I know that people have worked with other systems before but I have never done it before. You may want to try the asterisk users list. lists.digium.com
