Since I want to provide a SIP phone in most of our rooms, I want to combine it with the possibility of streaming audio. If I want to take a bath, I would call an extension that maps with a certain radio stream or mp3 playlists and then put the phone on speaker.
Therefore, I wanted to use the MP3Player but…
- it still seems to struggle with most streams I want to use (Asterisk 1.2.27 with mpg123 1.6.2)
- the quality is very low; is it possible to override the down sampling and pick the right codec for internal house use?
