Asterisk and Digium TE420P

Good Morning,

I purchased 4 TE420P board to install on Dell Power Edge 2950 and we are facing a problem. In this server we are using Debian 4.0 (tested Kernel: 2.6.17.14 and 2.6.26.5), Asterisk version 1.4.22, Dahdi version 2.0.0, Zaptel 1.4.12.1 and 2 Digium TE420P. We builded two different servers with the same configuration.

We are facing a stability problem in this environment… Randomly, this server receives some error message and restarts the system… Sometime restart by itself and sometime restart when we execute any command on the board.

We receive the following error message:

E1410 SYSTEM FATAL ERR
E1422 CPU MACHINE CHK
E171F PCIE FATAL ERR SLOT x

On Debian we receive the following error message:

TE4XXP: Version Synchronization Error!
uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 21 on CPU0
uhhuh. NMI received for unknown reason 31 on CPU0
Do you have a strange power saving mode configured?
dazed and confused, but trying to continue

Someone can help me with this problem, please?

Thanks in advance.

That would point to a faulty PCIe card. Try it without any cards in. Good old ‘process of elimination’ comes to mind here.

Oh - and stop using Dell .
