Asterisk 16 and PJSIP Callerid(name)

I am new to PJSIP and found that when Internal extensions phone each other it doesn’t show the callerid(name) in the CDR table. Chan_sip use to make use of it.

I read on the WIKI the following:

callerid

Must be in the format Name <Number> , or only <Number> .

I have only the callerid to Name and not include the number. Using it as Name <Number seams to resolve the problem.

Can I resolve the name to reflect in any other way in the dial plan?

How do you save the cdr data? In case it is the default csv-format, you could simply check the Master.csv file. Your pjsip endpoint def should have lines like callerid="My Phone"<4711>.
