Will Asterisk 15 be released this year?

Yes, each release of Asterisk is traditionally done at or near the Astricon conference.

And will there soon be an LTS version? The versions page at https://wiki.asterisk.org/wiki/display/AST/Asterisk+Versions used to show Asterisk 15 as being an LTS but now shows it being a standard release. Here’s hoping that there will be a15.x LTS in the not too distant future!

Due to the changes done in 15 it will be a standard release, not an LTS. 13 has been extended and will be supported longer instead.
