Hi Asterisk Forum,
Can I upgrade an Asterisk 13.23.0 to version 16 or 18? How can I do that?
Regards,
Mauro
If you don’t have any customised development, you can go directly to the latest asterisk version.
Macro will not work but you can enable it from the deprecated list.
PJSIP is the new way to go, though chan_sip is also available in a deprecated modules list.
As always give it a try on a separate instance.
Good luck!

you should be able to upgrade to 18
if you already are using chan_pjsip, it should work upgrading directly to 21
but to be safe you should read these pages
